Junior NTR and Puri Jagannath has worked together in the past in the movie Andhrawala but that was bombed at the box office. Now there is news that Puri is all set to direct Jr NTR as he liked the story told by Vakkantham Vamsi. It is told that Jr NTR has given his nod to the script of Kick and Race Gurram writer Vakkantam Vamsy and Puri directs this film.
