In a sensational decision against actress Jeevita Rajasekhar in a cheque-bounce case, Erramanjil court in Hyderabad has given her a two-year jail term. 'Evadaithe Nakenti' movie producer Shekhar Reddy this January has approached the court regarding a cheque issued by Jeevitha for Rs. 21.75 lakh. The cheque given for the rights of the movie by Jeevitha got returned. When asked repeatedly, she did not respond and also tried to give the rights to others, Sekhar Reddy informed the court. The court has sentenced her for 2 years imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs. 25 lakh . Sources say that she will not be granted bail unless she paid fine amount.
