All film shootings in Tollywood will come to a stand still starting tomorrow. The Telugu film industry workers' union on Wednesday had decided to go on a strike in protest against the delay in implementing the new wage increase policy arrived at by the Telugu Film Chamber. Members of the Tollywood workers union had waited for 6 months for the Film Chamber to implement the new wage policy. Some months back following a protest by the workers, the film chamber had decided to increase the wages of Tollywood workers. However, it failed to implement the revised wages till date. With the result, the workers have struck work.
