YS Rajasekhara Reddy died in an accident on 2nd of September 2009. A special story was made with visuals of YSR, starting from the day before his death, to the unfortunate incident. YSR started from Hyderabad to go to Chittoor district to participate in the Rachchabanda programme, which was created to check the delivery system of the government's welfare programmes. YSR went to Begumpet to airport to catch a chopper to go to Chittoor. Originally, YSR was supposed to travel in Augusta helicopter. But he travelled in BEL helicopter. His secretary Subramanyam, security Officer Wesley also followed him.
