Isuzu Moters India Private Ltd. has been planning to set up pick-up truck unit in Sri City Industrial Estate located in Chittoor district. While the investment on the project is Rs 3,000 crore, Target is to produce about 50,000 pick-up trucks by 2016.
As of now, Four variants of Isuzu pick-up trucks cost anywhere between Rs 6.25 lakhs to Rs 7.5 lakhs. In India, the market for pick-up trucks is growing at a rapid pace.
On the other hand, Mayoka is going set up Cold Chain System Industry in Food Parks located in AP. The firm also given assurance on coming up with Refrigerator & Compressor manufacturing unit for Cold Storages.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu promised all possible co-operation to these reputed companies who were investing in the state.
