On the inaugural day of 45th international festival of India,one of the DD anchor has made the news for wrong reason. The anchor was seen calling governor of Goa Mridula Sinha as the governor of India. This video went viral in youtube as Doordarshan has faced much criticism in the social media .Prasar Bharathi has appointed a special officer of senior cadre to probe against the episode which has brought Doordarshan in bad light. On the other hand, it is learnt that the anchor has been a contract employee.
