Union Railway minister Sadananda Gowda, while reading out the Railway Budget said that the in twin states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, a committee has already been set up with the railways and state government's officials over the prospects of railway projects. He said that action will be taken soon after the receipt of the committee.He said that 29 projects are running in the states of AP and Telangana at an estimated cost of 20,680 crores. He said that the co-ordinate committee will consider the issue so as to give the necessary economic boost.
