Indian Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju today said that Vijayawada airport facing lack of land availability for expansion.
Every one expected that Vijayawada Airport will be soon to turn as International Airport since the AP Capital is announced in the surroundings of Vijayawada. But Aviation minister clarified that since the trouble in land acquisition, Airport expansion many be tough at Gannavaram. At Present only 3 aero planes can be parked, it can be expanded to 6, said Minister.
