KTR fires on EENADU 'Meere Kattukondi' article

The major headline and story ‘Meere Kattukondi’ (Metro project) in the Eenadu daily today has sparked off a new debate and further riled the TRS government. The story revealed a letter written by L&T to the government which announced to quit their part in the Metro rail project due to incessant problems erupting due to various reasons. Today as a quick result, government secretary Rajiv Sharma met Metro railway MD NVS Reddy. And Reddy announced that Metro rail project will be continued peacefully without any obstacles. So, IT minister KTR has lambasted the media in a slight angry tone asking why the media covered their major winning in Medak by-election. “It is a neat indication that public gave us a stunning victory in the Medak by-election, but I’m asking why certain media covered it by publishing this particular matter as a major headline and it was a deliberate attempt to blame us” he said. He said that they had complete belief in the democracy and respects the media. KTR said that people were observing the issues and media should know this.
