250 Telugu people stranded at Pepsi plant in Iraq

Telugu people hailing from Nizamabad, Karimnagar, East and West Godavari distrcits are stranded in the Iraqi city of Kirkuk. The news channel said that some of the Telugu employees working in the Pespi plant there, have contacted them and told about their misery. Some 250 people from the two states have emigrated to Iraq through tourist visas by different tourist operators. They are not in a position to come out of the plant premises as they may fall victim to the bullets of ISIL militants. The Pepsi management has closed the plant due to internal war. The stranded Telugu people demand the T and AP governments to help them out.
