The newly going to form government (Telangana) is all set to modernize the police department very soon.Central Home Ministry has finally set the deals with building of new police stations and categorisation of police stations. As per Central ministry principles, 70 lakh population of police stations or more comes under "A" category, less than population of police stations comes under "B" category. It also prepared a report on IG and DIG's commissionerates in Warangal and Karimnagar districts. Officials are getting ready to increase police stations in Warangal, Khammam, Mahabubnagar and Adilabad districts. The division of Police departments in both regions has been finalized.
