Telangana Jagriti leader and Nizamabad MP Kavitha said that union minister of home affairs Rajnath Singh promised the delegations of TRS MPs that the law and order powers would be kept with the state government only. The delegation of TRS MPs today met Rajnath Singh in Delhi. Kavitha said she was happy with the outcome of the meet with Rajnath Singh. She said that Rajnath Singh responded positively. She said that Rajnath Singh promised them that the union government would take away the powers of the chief minister of Telangana state.
