Gujarat Police officials urged the girls of the state, not to come out wearing jeans. Porbandar Police has put up poster to this effect. This news created flutter all over the nation in media as well as social media. The police put these posters on 12th of this month during a seminar on women empowerment. Gujarat chief minister Anandiben Patel's image is also there in the poster. Women associations fumed over this poster. Porbandar Police gave a clarification that it was not an act of moral policing.
