Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed condolences over the loss of lives related with the gas pipeline blast at Nagaram village in East Godavari district. He directed the union petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan to take the initiatives in this regard. On the other hand, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has alerted state Home Minister, District Collector of East Godavari district and district SP to supervise the site of accident and extend relief to the victims.
In his reaction the tragic incident of GAIL pipeline blast in East Godavari district, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on twitter that this thoughts are with the families of those who lost their lives in the fire accident. He further tweeted that he has spoken to the Petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Cabinet Secretary AK Seth and GAIL chairman and asked them to ensure immediate relief at the accident site. The PM has also announced Rs. 2 lakh for the kin of those who lost their lives and Rs. 50,000 each for the injured.
