Rayapati sambasiva Rao, TDP MP from Narasarao Peta, who was a Congressman till recently, Slips Tongud Congress General Secretary in-charge of AP affairs Digvijay Singh. This incident happened soon after Rayapati had a darshan of the Lord at Tirumala. Before getting ready to speak to the media, Rayapati made casual remarks saying the state bifurcation has happened because of that fellow, referring to Digvijay. Some sections maintain that Rayapati abandoned decorum in making such comments.
