BJP senior leader and Union Minister for Urban development and Parliamentary affairs Venkaiah Naidu stated that the restrictions on the channels is not good for Democracy . He further added that the issues in the broadcasting can be discussed with them but not a good idea to stop their telecasting . Venkaiah Naidu suggested that any action can be initiated against those TV channels either it is TV9 or ABN if they telecast objectionable content and felt that it is not good for Democracy to stop their telecasting altogether .
