Actress Anjali says the episode related to her kidnap is just about money only. She denied that she disappeared for a while all of a sudden. Neither she agreed that she was actually kidnapped. She said she only wanted to take a break, as she was greatly disappointed at the lust for money. She said the same is the case with her aunt and with the Tamil director Kalanjiyam. She also says she has no Godfather in the industry and she s helped by friends.
