At last, Andhra Pradesh government put a full stop on the apprehensions raised by opposition parties on loan waiver in the state. The government today issued a G.O. on loan waiver. According to this G.O., farm loans would be waived up to Rs.1.5 lakh for a family and Dwacra loans would be waived up to Rs. 1 lakh for a group. The waiver would be implemented for all loans taken till 31st of March, this year. The implementation would be held as per the guidelines of the state bankers committee.
