Usually, Republic Day or Independence Day is an occasion for release of prisoners. But this year the new governments had no time to take up this. But this channel has conducted a programme of interaction with prisoners. Actor Suman interacted with inmates of Cherlapalli jail in Hyderabad. Suman himself said he has experience of jail life, as he was in jail in the past. Some of the prisoners said they have got punishment although they have not committed the crime that were accused of.
