The Dwaraka Peetam Swarupananda alleged recently that Sai Baba is not a god and appealed the Hindus not to worship him and even stated that Sai Baba is a non vegetarian . Swarupananda further went on saying that Sai Baba temples are being constructed every where to divert the Hindus from Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and he even said that the Sai Baba should have been prayed by the Muslims as he is project as God even to them but is not happening like that as only Hindus are ending up praying him . The war of words between Uma Bharti and Swaroopanand Saraswati of the Dwarka Mutt intensified with the seer demanding Bharti's resignation for being a Sai Baba worshipper.
