Cyclonic storm Hudhud which wreaked havoc in north coastal Andhra districts has also damaged Visakhapatnam Airport. It has snapped the air connectivity with this steel city. The flood waters of the sea and other water streams have inundated the periphery of Visakha airport presenting a dreadful look. The runway of the airport has been filled up with the stagnant water affecting the services. In addition to this, strong gusty winds have also damaged the airport building.
