US Lawmakers seek PM Modi's address to Congress Joint Session

Things will never remain the same, particularly in politics. Till recently, USA has seen politician Narendra Modi as an outcast and denied a visa to him in 2005. But things seem to be changing after he became Prime Minister. In fact, US leaders had said that if Indian people give him mandate, they will not mind inviting him. And that's what has happened now. A US lawmaker has written to Congress Speaker to invite Modi for addressing a joint session of its Congress(Parliament). California Republican Ed Royce, chairman of the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee, wrote to House Speaker John Boehner asking that he invite PM Modi to address a joint session of the House and Senate during his trip to the US.
