The TDP has got a thumping majority in the municipal elections and it won in 65 municipalities out of 92 municipalities in Seemandhra and it can be said that the YSRCP has bite the dust in Seemandhra municipal elections while Congress did not even open the account. In Telangana Congress won the majority seats and standing with 24 municipalities out of 53 while TRS won 8 municipalities. TDP and BJP alliance got 10 municipalities and MIM won Baimsa and Nirmal municipalities. Finally the TDP in Seemandhra and Congress in Telangana are in majority in the municipal elections.
