AirAsia starts flight services at Rs.999

The low-cost AirAsia India's first flight has taken off today from Bengaluru to Goa this afternoon. AirAsia India has entered the aviation scene with a slogan of amking flying possible at a price of Rs.999 between second-rung cities. AirAsia sold 25,000 tickets in a span of 48 hours. AirAsia's entry has raised competition and other players like SpiceJet and IndiGO have already joined the low-cost race. AirAsia India has announced that it will offer services at a cost of 35 percent less than those offered by other companies.
