Union minister for information and broadcasting, Prakash Javadekar said that the union government had powers to revoke the licenses of MSOs who violate the rules. He replied to the debate on the ban of TV9 and ABN Andhra Jyothy news channels. He said that the union government already wrote a letter to Telangana government on this issue, and got a reply that they had nothing to do with the issue. Prakash Javadekar said that right to express is a provision of the Constitution of India.
