The YSRCP's internal rumblings came to the fore on the eve of Independence Day in Karimnagar. Karimnagar town president Ganta Susheela attacked the District president Singireddy Bhaskar Reddy with chappals. Reports say that the woman has attacked the president in a pre-planned manner. The reason offered by the aggressive woman is that the district president has not been informing others of the party activities and is showing discrimination against her for being a Dalit woman. But Bhaskar Reddy claimed that certain "malevolent forces" are behind the attack on him.
